Field Projects
Conducting research and teaching field courses in sustainable development and water resources in remote places around the globe has allowed Wendy to continue her peripatetic ways – only this time, as a professional! Her passion for mountains, outdoor adventure and other cultures has taken her to places near and far – including Alaska, Patagonia, and the Himalaya – and has allowed her to share these experiences with fabulous students. As an artist, Wendy seeks to integrate science with art, however and whereever possible. Her participation in the the Wade in the Water residency program and her work on a large-format film, Patagonia: Ice to Ocean are but two examples of work that fills her soul.
